About the Authors

Wendy Burt earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Vermont. She also attended Middlebury College and the University of Aberdeen in Aberdeen, Scotland. Wendy has been a freelance writer for more than seven years. In addition, she has seven years of marketing and advertising experience, including newspaper, radio, magazine, direct mail, brochure and Web site design.

After working for six years in various companies doing marketing/advertising and technical writing, she began freelance writing in 1998 after attending Wendy's "Break Into Freelance Writing" class. She currently writes business, lifestyle, and entertainment features for various publications and web sites.
